As someone who grew up requiring special education, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to "learn how to learn".

And as a special education teacher, I also understand how evidence-based, and individualized plans can make a difference in a child’s life.

From engaging in social activities, to listening and following instructions, to reading and communicating, as board certified behavior analysts and ABA therapists, it is our goal to provide evidence-based, integrative care to children, parents, adults, and families.

At Marissa Bennett Consulting, we strive to foster basic skills and more complex abilities for a lifetime of achievements. From individualized behavior plans to help students be successful in the classroom, to at-home strategies laying the groundwork for a lifetime of growth, we work with children and adults in a variety of settings.

Working with teachers, schools, districts, and individual families, we provide extensive training on classroom management, and inclusion.

At Marissa Bennett Consulting, our philosophy is to put client needs first.

We believe that each learner is an individual with individual needs and that learning should be fun and interactive. We believe that it is imperative to have parent involvement in treatment and for parents to feel empowered in their role as a parent. We believe in treatment that is realistic and accessible. We believe everyone has the ability to learn in some shape or form.

Who We Are

Marissa Bennett Consulting is a boutique Chicago agency of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ABA Therapists, and amazing administrative staff who work together to support parents and clients growth and development.

Extensive Training

Our staff have extensive training in the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and integrate a variety of backgrounds and approach each new client with compassion, an open mind, and a plan for success.

Experience with Various Needs

Our team has experience working with children and adults with a variety of special needs including: Autism spectrum disorder, Intellectual Disability, Anxiety, Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, and various genetic disorders. We also have experience working with the Deaf and hard of hearing community, as well as Emotional Behavior Disorders such as Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactive Attention Deficit Disorder.

Insurance Network

In network with most major insurance companies, our administrative staff has years of experience navigating insurance coverage. They are there to help you through the insurance authorization and submission process as well as billing to in network providers.
